Open to all Honors students, the Honors LLC is a residential experience that strives to create a respectful and close-knit community among residents all the while celebrating the diversity of our students. Built on the foundation of our three pillars: research, service, and scholarship; residents are expected to participate in programs and activities for career exploration, relationship building/networking, connections with Honors faculty and staff, opportunities for academic advancement, and personal development. The experiences offered within the Honors Living Learning Community are perfect examples of what it means to build community at USF.

History
Rooted in USF history as the oldest Living Learning Community on campus, the Honors Living Learning Community was established in 1988 to fulfill its mission to serve as an environment that fosters the growth and development of its residents academically, professionally, and personally. With scissors donated by a local elementary school, the Honors College LLC made its debut in a one of a kind ribbon cutting ceremony accompanied by residents, university administrators, local politicians, and musical performances by members of Honors community.

I'm an incoming first year student and I was not assigned to the Honors LLC for the fall. How can I change rooms?
You can submit a Room Change Request, which can be found on the housing website.
I applied for housing back in December and just saw that I was not assigned to the LLC, why did this happen?
Housing assigns students on a first come first serve basis. You must have a complete application on file (application, application and deposit fee, immunization record, and meal plan) in order to be assigned to a room. If you did not have all of the above submitted prior to the first round of assignments, you not be assigned to Juniper.
I was not assigned to a room in the LLC, but still want to participate in Honors events. Is this possible?
Absolutely. The Honors College and the Honors College Student Council offer a variety of academic and social events that are open to all Honors students (whether or not you live on campus or not).
