Honors College

Dean's Update:

Thesis permits have not been entered yet.  It will be several more weeks. Please do not worry and do not ask your advisor; s/he does not do that.

The Honors College has moved to ADM 241.  We have significantly more space, including 5 classrooms.  Of course, there is a computer lab and a study lounge.

I would like to invite each of you to submit one or more works of art to be prominently displayed in our new quarters.   Paintings, drawings, watercolors, mixed media, photos, sculptures and anything that is "displayable" will be considered and prizes will be awarded to all artwork selected for display.

if you offered your work, please bring it in and help us find a spot

  • Panama: Beyond the Classroom applications online!

This Geographical Perspectives & Major Works/Major Issues course will include a voyage to the City of Knowledge in Panamá.   Students will synthesize their classroom and international experiences in order to learn about the social, political, and economic situation in the developing world, focusing on a comparison between the U.S. and Panamanian health care systems.   This course should appeal to students with a strong sense of adventure, a curiosity about our expanding global society and a desire to make a difference.  Honors College students of all academic levels and from all majors are encouraged to apply for the course.  Please return applications and direct any questions to Amy Sturrock, Academic Advisor, asturrock@honors.usf.edu
