Indian Dance Fundraiser for USF Health Free Clinic BRIDGe
Shreyas-An Expression of Dance will be presenting Dashavataram, a Bharatha Natyam Dance Ballet, on Saturday June 1, 2013 at 6 pm at Sickles High School in Tampa, FL. The net proceeds of this production will be donated to the BRIDGE Clinic. BRIDGE is a free, student-run clinic affiliated with USF Health. Bharatha Natyam is the ancient dance form of India that brings poetry to life. As a dance form it is all that we know as theater, with music, dance, drama , color, rhythm, poetry and storytelling. This dance ballet is choreographed in a light classical style. All the dancers have had several years of training. The story line travels through centuries with beauty and grace. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring health professionals to support USF Health and to network with current medical students! For more information about tickets or ways to get involved, please contact Shreya Narayanan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
