Honors College Virtual Advising is hosted by Elluminate Live! and accessed through Blackboard. To chat online with an Honors College Academic Advisor, please log into Blackboard at my.usf.edu and click on Organizations.

Select the Honors College and then click on Communication on the left hand side. Click on Elluminate Live!

If Virtual Advising is available, you will be able to click on the Virtual Advising link, see who is holding virtual advising hours, and how long virtual advising will be available. Click on the link to launch Elluminate Live and use the chat feature to communicate with the advisor on duty. Please have your U# ready.

If you receive an error message saying the course is locked, the advisor is working with another student. Please try again in a few minutes.

If Virtual Advising is not available, there will not be a link to follow. Please check back at another time.

The content of your virtual advising questions should be the same at those for walk-in appointments and should take no longer than five to ten minutes to answer. Questions regarding schedules for next semester, graduation audits or personal issues are best answered during appointments when advisors have sufficient time to completely answer your questions in person.
