Why doesn’t my Honors Scholarship show up on OASIS?
In order to get the Honors Scholarship you need to be enrolled in the Honors course (main curriculum only), have a 3.2 USF GPA, and have no I, D, or F grades in any IDH courses. If you meet these criteria and your Honors Scholarship does not show up on OASIS, please contact us.
However, if you are a new transfer/continuing student in the Honors College, your Honors Scholarship will not be posted on OASIS account until after the first week of classes once the enrollment is verified. Therefore, please allow 3-4 weeks for processing of it and if it does not show up after 4 weeks of classes, please contact us.
If you are a new incoming freshman, your Honors Scholarship will not be posted or awarded until you go through the orientation. Please allow couple of weeks for processing after your orientation before contacting us.
I took two Honors courses in one semester, now I’m not taking any, can i still receive the scholarship?
Because of different policies and rules each student’s case is different. Please contact the scholarship coordinator at the Honors College to look over your situation.
I got a memo from Financial Aid that I need to submit a memo regarding my graduate course for my Bright Futures to pay. What do I do?
Please visit the Honors College office and ask for the Bright Futures form. Complete this form with your personal information and take it to the Financial Aid office. It is best to do this early in the semester, as it will take several weeks for the Financial Aid office to process your request and your funding may be delayed.
